Please note: By completing the “Ohio Tax Exempt Form for Courts” and submitting it to the hotel, the hotel with waive the 7% Ohio Sales Tax. You must still pay the 9% Hotel/Motel Excise Tax”. Be sure to include the excise tax in the check if you are paying with a check from the court/municipality.
